'Death of Bishop Heber', 1846. Reginald Heber (1783-1826), English clergyman, and traveller, served as the Anglican Bishop of Calcutta until his sudden death at the age of 42. On 3rd April 1826 the Bishop died suddenly, possibly from the shock of a cold bath. Here we see him being carried from the bath by his servants and chaplain. After H. Melville.
