Zennor, Cornwall, England. Zennor is a village in the west of Cornwall. The village church, St Senara's, contains a Mermaid Chair carved in the 15th century. It commemorates the legend of a mermaid who fell in love with a young man who was one of the church choristers and enticed him to come away with her, never to be seen again. It is said that visitors who sit quietly in Pendour Cove nearby can hear the sound of the couple singing together.
