Gothic abbey church in the City of Westminster, London. Dating from 960, it was rebuilt in 1517 with 18th century towers added. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and Grade I listed building. Construction of the present church was begun in 1245 by Henry III who selected the site for his burial.
