The British came under attack from French field guns while landing, with 130 killed and 600 wounded or missing. They went on to secure the position and the French withdrew, losing at least 300 dead, as well as heavy artillery pieces. From Battles for the Flag, a set of cards given away with British boys' comic The Wizard. [D. C. Thomson & Co., Dundee, 1939]
