Piazza Duomo: the facade of the Duomo (Cathedral) and, in the foreground, the statue dedicated to Vittorio Emanuele II (1879 - 1896), in bronze for the statue and for the high reliefs, and in Carrara marble and granite for the base. The sculptor Ercole Rosa died before having finished it. The work was completed under the direction of Ettore Ferrari.
