Plans for the restoration of the logis royaux or royal appartments, 1812, in the collection of the Chateau de Chinon or Forteresse royale de Chinon, Indre-et-Loire, France. The chateau was founded in the 11th century by Theobald I, count of Blois. King Henry II of England lived and died here in the 12th century and the chateau has been out of use since the late 16th century.
