Statue of St Joan of Arc, in the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, or Notre-Dame cathedral, built 1163-1345 in French Gothic style, on the Ile de la Cite in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. Joan of Arc led French troops to victory against the English in the Hundred Years' War in the 15th century, when she was just a girl. She was beatified at Notre-Dame Cathedral in 1909.
