In the centre is a statue of cherubs holding a basket of flowers, by Philippe de Buyster, 1595-1688. The chateau is built in Baroque style, with decoration by Charles Le Brun, 1619-90, and grounds designed by landscape architect Andre le Notre, 1613-1700.
