Forum, 1st century AD, Segobriga, Spain, which was accessed by a grand staircase, and has an inscription to Spantamicus Proculus, who commissioned it. Segobriga was founded by the Romans in the 1st century BC, after the Punic wars, and developed during the reign of  Augustus. Its main industry was mining 'specularis lapis', a crystallized sheet gypsum used for window glass.
