A detail of a sculpture on April 15, 2007 in Corinth, Greece. This statue of a horse's head is to be found in the Museum at Corinth. The horse shows great spirit and sports a curling mane. Corinth, founded in Neolithic times, was a major Ancient Greek city, until it was razed by the Romans in 146 BC. Rebuilt a century later it was destroyed by an earthquake in Byzantine times.
