Schloss Charlottenhof, built after 1826 as a summer residence for the Crownprince, later King Frederic Wilhelm IV. The "tent room", in blue and white striped cotton, inspired by generals' tents from the Napoleonic Wars, was a guest room. Schinkel slept there.
