The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts

Art Resource is happy to announce that it has been selected as the official repository of the comprehensive photo archive of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. This includes transparencies of virtually all of Warhol's better known works, and many less well known to the public.

Andy Warhol, the quintessential Pop artist, made a significant contribution to 20th century art. We believe that his art, which includes his series of Campbell's Soup Cans, Coca-Cola Bottles, Brillo Boxes, Electric Chairs and Dollar Signs, will provide our clients with new ways of illustrating particular themes of 20th century history and culture. In addition, his vast work in the field of non-commissioned and commissioned portraiture, including his well known portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Judy Garland, Jackie O, Mao, Einstein, Kafka, Beethoven, Goethe and Freud, will be quite useful to our clients for various projects. We hope that you will inquire further about this exciting new addition to our holdings!
