Off to France to find America
As part of our
arrangement with the Réunion des Musées Nationaux (RMN)
Art Resource now provides access to The Musée National de
la Cooperation franco-américaine (National Museum of Franco-American
Cooperation) at the Château in Blérancourt, France.
Founded in 1924 by Anne Morgan, daughter of the American financier J.
Pierpont Morgan, who had settled in Blérancourt (Picardy) during
her charitable activities in World War I, the museum presents today
a historical and artistic collection illustrating the Franco-American
relationship since the 18th century.

sculptures, prints, maps, as well as historical souvenirs. Among the
items are a series of watercolors about the American Civil War, 19th
century views of American cities, as well as works by 20th century American
